Cerula wraps are a simple swap for cling film and plastic bags. Each wrap is made from organic cotton coated with a blend of food-grade beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. The warmth of your hands softens the wax, so the wrap moulds around a bowl, a cut avocado or a hunk of cheese. When it cools, it holds its shape. To refresh, just rinse with cool water and a little dish soap, then air dry. With proper care, a set can last about a year, which means a lot fewer rolls of single-use plastic in your kitchen.

How do I get the wrap to stick? +
Use the warmth of your hands to soften the wax, then press the wrap around the bowl or food. It seals as it cools.
Can I use these wraps with raw meat? +
We recommend using them for fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese and covered bowls. For raw meat, a washable container is a safer choice.
How do I clean them? +
Rinse with cool water and a mild dish soap. Avoid hot water and scrubbing, which can wear down the wax.
How long do they last? +
With regular care, most sets last about a year. After that, you can compost the cotton or refresh the wax coating.
